The Haus der Kantone (Maison des cantons) is a shared venue in Bern that houses the secretariats of Swiss intercantonal conferences and associated organisations. It is operated by the ch Foundation for Swiss Intercantonal Cooperation, which conducts basic work on federalism, mutual understanding and social cohesion, identifies trends, runs continuing education courses, and promotes cooperation between cantons and with the Confederation. The building, opened in 2008, also provides meeting facilities for cantonal representatives in the federal capital.
