Its work includes community mental health and rehabilitation, non-communicable disease care, maternal and child nutrition, family planning, water and sanitation in health facilities, post-disaster health facility reconstruction, and health technology and telemedicine. It also runs internship, observership and volunteer programmes, and mentorship for Nepalese medical graduates. The organisation is registered as a 501 non-profit in the United States and in Nepal, and operates from its Kathmandu office, with a field office in Dang.
