IDC is a non-profit association based in Lisboa, Portugal working on education, science & research.

IDC Associação para o Estudo do Direito do Consumo is a private-law, cultural, non-profit association based at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, Portugal. It promotes research, teaching and dissemination of Consumer Law. Its activities include postgraduate and intensive training courses, thematic conferences and events, and a consumer law publication series. It also maintains institutional protocols with Portuguese public bodies and foreign academic and judicial institutions, and provides services to the European Commission on the consumer law content of the EU e-Justice Portal. Membership is open to individuals and institutions, with the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon as a founding associate.
