Institut für Mediation

Institut für Mediation is a non-profit association based in Zürich, Switzerland working on peace & conflict, democracy & civil society.

The Institut für Mediation (IfM) is a Swiss association under Art. 60 ff. of the Swiss Civil Code, politically and religiously independent. It is a platform for networking, training and information on mediation and other constructive conflict-resolution methods. It aims to promote a constructive, cooperative conflict culture in Switzerland through exchange of experience, education and public information. Its members are mediators, coaches and conflict professionals across many fields, including workplace, family, neighbourhood, schools and public administration. Membership is open to interested people from all backgrounds, and the association is a member of the Fédération Suisse Mediation FSM, in whose assembly it has delegates. Its office is in Zurich.
