It Gets Better Portugal is an official affiliate of the It Gets Better Project, operated by the Associação Tudo Vai Melhorar in Porto, Portugal. It works to give hope to lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex (LGBTI) young people and to help them overcome bullying and discrimination. Its activities include online video series, a daily flow of supportive messages, educational resources for schools and teachers, a directory of support organisations and professionals, and campaigns that invite people to share videos and stories. It is run as a youth non-profit association.
