Based in València, Spain, it works to support sustainable and intelligent development of the built environment and urban space through innovation, research, professional training, and the development of building certification and verification schemes. It coordinates and takes part in European research projects on energy renovation, building decarbonisation and urban planning, and runs public databases and tools for the construction sector. Its board includes public administrations, professional colleges, manufacturers, developers, builders and users.
