Kafkasya Veteriner Hekimler Birliği Derneği is a professional association based in Ardahan, Turkey, serving veterinary surgeons and veterinary academics working in the Caucasus region. It conducts research and academic work on regional animal and public health problems, supports public and private bodies with recommendations, and promotes a One Health approach that links human, animal and environmental health, particularly around zoonotic diseases such as avian influenza and rabies. It also organises continuing education courses, seminars and conferences, shares knowledge with national and international veterinary organisations, and publishes the Kafkasya Journal of Health Sciences. Its stated aims include improving animal health and welfare and raising public awareness of animal health, alongside supporting its members' professional development.
