Kipepeo Entwicklung in Afrika e.V. is a German non-profit association that supports smallholder farming families in remote areas of Uganda and Tanzania. Its main focus is access to clean water, mainly through funding rainwater tanks installed at family homes, with a stated aim of helping women and children who traditionally carry water over long distances. The association was formed from a network of supporters of Kipepeo bio & fair GmbH, and it works with local partners, Biofresh Ltd. in Uganda and Matunda Mema Ltd. in Tanzania. Its work is volunteer-led, and it states that donations go fully to projects.
