KOD Podkarpackie

KOD Podkarpackie is a non-profit association based in Rzeszów, Poland working on democracy & civil society, human rights, justice & legal aid.

KOD Podkarpackie is the Podkarpacie regional branch of the Komitet Obrony Demokracji (Committee for the Defence of Democracy), a Polish civic association. It works to defend democratic values, the rule of law and the constitution through public information, civic education, events and campaigns in the Podkarpackie region, with local groups in towns including Rzeszów, Krosno, Przemyśl, Sanok, Jarosław, Dębica, Mielec, Ropczyce, Stalowa Wola and Lubaczów. Its activities include solidarity events for Ukraine, commemorations and public discussions. Donations are accepted to support its work.
