La Nave del Sole ONLUS is an independent Milan-based association offering psychology, psychiatry and psychotherapy services to promote and restore the psychological wellbeing of Italian and foreign adults. Founded in 2004, it specialises in the psychotherapeutic treatment of addictions, including alcohol, cocaine, smoking and emerging addictions, and also works on family relationships, migration, women in difficulty, aggression and trauma. Services include individual and group psychotherapy and community-based interventions. Fees are kept low and, under its ONLUS status, around 10% of users are treated free of charge, with others paying according to family income. The association also runs community psychology projects and research on integration between migrants and the Italian community in Milan and Lombardy.
