Lietuvos Caritas is the national charity of the Catholic Church in Lithuania and a member of Caritas Europe and Caritas Internationalis. Established by the Lithuanian Bishops' Conference, it coordinates Caritas work across Lithuania, represents the organisation nationally and abroad, and advocates for vulnerable people. Working largely through volunteers across the country's dioceses, it runs children's day centres, an emotional support helpline for older people, food and clothing aid, support for people facing homelessness, addiction, violence or disability, integration support for migrants, prisoner pastoral care, and humanitarian aid for Ukraine. It also promotes social policy reforms, including poverty reduction.
