Lifbee is a non-profit platform based in Bratislava, Slovakia, that runs Lifbee Academy, an education programme and innovation incubator for scientists and non-scientists. It focuses on scientific applications that can improve human health and address environmental problems, including biotechnology, artificial intelligence and materials science. The organisation supports young innovators and entrepreneurs through training, interdisciplinary teams, mentoring and an annual BioInnovation Awards finale, and aims to build a community and ecosystem for innovation in the Central European region. It is funded by private sources such as corporate partners, patrons and participant tuition, and does not accept state grants.
