MEDEKO nadácia is a foundation based in Považská Bystrica, Slovakia, established in 2014 by Medeko Cast, s.r.o. It runs its own community projects, including the Mladý talent Považskej Bystrice youth talent competition, the Inovátor Junior category, the Beh nádeje charity run and the Cooltajner summer project. It also provides financial support to other non-profit organisations and active citizen groups, focusing mainly on regional activities and smaller projects. During the COVID-19 pandemic it raised funds and purchased surgical face masks for the local hospital. The foundation is funded by local companies and individuals and also accepts volunteer help and donations, including a share of personal income tax (2%).
