Micii Exploratori

Founded in 2010, Micii Exploratori is a non-profit association based in Sibiu, Romania working on children & youth, education, religion & faith.

Asociația Micii Exploratori is a Romanian association based in Sibiu that runs Christian, outdoor-based youth and children's programmes. It operates Micii Exploratori clubs for children aged 9 to 12 and Tineri Exploratori clubs for adolescents, organises camps and hikes, and trains volunteer leaders who run local groups in partnership with churches. The association also develops educational materials and games, organises national events, and supports churches and organisations in starting new clubs. It was founded in 2010 and is part of the international Youngstars network. Its activities are reported to reach eight cities in Romania. Funding comes largely from individual donations, including online donations and the 3.5% income tax redirection mechanism.
