The International House of Youth Meetings (MDSM) in Oświęcim, Poland, is a Polish-German foundation founded by Akcja Znaku Pokuty/Służby dla Pokoju and the City of Oświęcim. It runs non-formal education, seminars, workshops, conferences, exhibitions and cultural projects on the history of World War II, the Holocaust and KL Auschwitz, aiming to prepare young people to act against racism, antisemitism and exclusion and to defend human rights, peace and social justice. Its staff and governing bodies are bilingual and international, and it works with young people from Poland, Germany and other countries, often in connection with visits to the Auschwitz-Birkenau memorial.
