The Cistercian Monastery of Santa María de Sobrado is a Cistercian community in Sobrado dos Monxes, Galicia, Spain. The monastery's heritage site, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, lies on the Camino del Norte to Santiago de Compostela. The community was re-established in 1966, after the monastery had been abandoned in the 19th century. It runs a pilgrim hostel, guided visits, concerts and cultural events, and grows its own produce. The Asociación de Amigos del Monasterio, a registered non-profit association founded in 2016, supports the community and the historic building. It also coordinates volunteers, runs a shop, and takes part in cultural and educational activities for the public.
