Muamma LGBTİ Eğitim Araştırma ve Dayanışma Derneği is a non-profit civil society organisation founded in 2018 by LGBTI activists in Mersin, Turkey. It provides free psychosocial and legal support to LGBTI people, particularly in the Çukurova region and rural cities, and offers peer counselling and information for trans people on gender affirmation processes. It also monitors gender affirmation practices across Turkey, runs advocacy, campaigns, training and capacity-building activities, conducts academic research on LGBTI rights, health access and gender, and operates community initiatives including a football activity and a network of families of LGBTI people. The association works at local level in Mersin and nationally as part of the Turkish LGBTI rights movement.
