Museibanornas Riksorganisation

Museibanornas Riksorganisation is a non-profit network based in Stockholm, Sweden working on heritage.

Museibanornas Riksorganisation (MRO) is a Swedish umbrella organisation for member associations that operate museum railways and tramways preserving rolling heritage. It coordinates members' common interests, acts as a contact body towards authorities on regulations such as safety management and operating rules, provides information and capacity-building events such as an annual safety conference, and runs the MRO awards that recognise volunteer contributions to the heritage sector. It also issues the MRO card, a benefit for active volunteers in member associations, and represents Swedish members in Fedecrail.
