Nadácia AXIS is a Slovak foundation that provides comprehensive help and support to children and adults with health and physical disabilities, chronic illnesses, and their families. It supports patients with rehabilitation, medical aids and treatment costs, and runs projects such as external speech therapy, early support for at-risk children and assistance for Ukrainian families with disabled children. It works in close cooperation with the AXIS Rehabilitation Center in Piešťany, which provides interdisciplinary rehabilitation for neurological conditions. The foundation raises funds through public collections, charity events such as a bazaar and a dance marathon, direct donations, a transparent account, and the 2% personal income tax designation. It also runs a volunteer programme and a community account for donors and supporters.
