Nadácia KVAPKA NÁDEJE is a Slovak foundation founded in 2010 to collect funds for the medical, educational, cultural and social needs of sick children, mainly children with cancer. It has financed equipment and building work for the bone marrow transplant unit and other paediatric haematology and oncology facilities at the Children's Diseases Institute in Bratislava and in other Slovak hospitals, and has funded psychosocial care, a monitoring-based donor recruitment register campaign and annual charity galas. The foundation operates across Slovakia, runs public collections registered with the Ministry of Interior, and states that its administration is run by volunteers at no cost.
