Nalibali

Nalibali is a charity based in Cape Town, South Africa working on education, children & youth, community development.

Nalibali is South Africa's national reading-for-enjoyment campaign, operated by The Nalibali Trust, a public benefit organisation based in Cape Town. It aims to spark and sustain a culture of reading and storytelling in children from birth to 12 years old. The campaign develops and distributes storybooks and story content in all South African languages, promotes home-language reading, and runs reading clubs, story supplements, audio and video stories, printables and volunteer programmes. It works with adults in children's lives, including parents, caregivers, teachers and community members, and collaborates with partners nationally across South Africa.
