Nätverket för psykedelisk vetenskap (NPV) is a Swedish non-profit association formed in 2016 after a network started in 2015 by students and healthcare professionals. It promotes scientific research and public information on the therapeutic potential and risks of psychedelic substances. Its activities include member meetings roughly monthly in Stockholm and in other Swedish cities, lectures by external experts and researchers, public events, film screenings, a social media presence, and a student essay prize. NPV aims to give researchers a hub for exchanging ideas and forming research projects, and it does not discuss recreational use or drug policy. Membership is open to anyone interested in psychedelic science, regardless of background, and the association has stated an intention to join a larger international network.
