NVO Prima is a non-profit organisation based in Podgorica, Montenegro, founded in November 2010. Its members are activists with long experience in democratisation of society, including youth work and youth policy, women's, minority and marginalised groups' rights, formal and non-formal education, psychological counselling and information, and civil society work. The organisation works to develop youth participation and active citizenship, promote non-violence, peace and dialogue, and prevent gender-based and peer violence and discrimination. It provides counselling, non-formal education, youth information, research and policy advocacy, and publishes educational materials. It operates in Montenegro, the Western Balkans region and Europe, and is a member of several regional and international youth and civil society networks.
