Občianske združenie Medzi riekami is a civic association based in Zemplínska Široká in the Dolný Zemplín border region of eastern Slovakia, bounded by the Laborec and Uh rivers. Founded in August 2009 and registered with the Slovak Ministry of Interior on 7 October 2009, it works to develop the territory, improve residents' quality of life, support community initiatives, and raise environmental and social awareness in line with sustainable living principles. It acts as a local action group (MAS) implementing community-led local development (CLLD) strategy under the Rural Development Programme and IROP, publishing grant calls and supporting projects by municipalities, entrepreneurs and non-profit organisations. Its members include 26 municipalities, 14 businesses and 14 non-profit organisations. The area is also known for its Senianske rybníky wetlands, an important bird habitat, and its cultural heritage such as the Senné manor house.
