Otwarty Warsztat Rowerowy is an initiative of the Stowarzyszenie Mierz Wysoko, a Polish public-benefit association. It runs open bicycle workshops in Warsaw where people can have their bikes repaired by mechanics or fix them themselves with tools and a self-service area, and a bike wash. The initiative collects donated bicycles and parts, refurbishes them and gives them away to people in need or to participants in social campaigns, and sells refurbished bikes to fund its statutory activities. It also runs volunteer training, bicycle lessons, group rides and mobile repair services at corporate and municipal events. Its work focuses on recycling bicycles, reducing waste and promoting cycling as a sustainable form of transport. The main workshop is at ul. Wolność 2 and a second site at ul. Brzeska 23 operates seasonally.
