PAISTE ry

Founded in 2011, PAISTE ry is a non-profit network based in Pieksämäki, Finland working on community development, health.

PAISTE ry is a network association supporting social and health sector non-profit organisations in the Pieksämäki region of Finland. Founded to strengthen cooperation between local associations and pool resources, it has eight member associations and one supporting member. Its work includes coordinating cooperation between member organisations and the city of Pieksämäki, developing training, guidance and advice for associations, seeking development project funding, maintaining shared premises for members, representing the sector in local and regional decision-making, and acting as an expert body and statement giver to authorities. It also published a cooperation handbook between the city and the non-profit sector and runs the YTYÄ project to support local associations' wellbeing work.
