Founded in 2012, Patas Therapeutas is a non-governmental organisation based in São Paulo, Brazil working on health, children & youth, elderly care.

Patas Therapeutas is a non-profit association in São Paulo, Brazil, that provides Animal-Assisted Services (SAA). Trained volunteers and their vetted dogs, cats and other animals make planned visits to hospitals, elderly care residences, children's shelters, companies and police units to promote physical, emotional, mental and social well-being. All animals undergo health and behavioural assessments before taking part. The organisation works with more than 15 partner institutions in São Paulo, relies on a network of volunteers, partners and sponsors, and is a member of international bodies in human-animal interaction.
