Pes a lavíny is a non-profit association based in Hybe, Slovakia working on humanitarian aid & disaster relief, animal welfare, education.

Pes a lavíny is a Slovak civic association (občianske združenie) and voluntary, non-profit organisation based in Hybe. It promotes and supports cynology (dog handling) in mountain environments and works on avalanche prevention. Its activities include training avalanche rescue dogs and figurants (avalanche victim simulators) and their handlers, organising an international dog-handler seminar at Popradské Pleso, and holding cynological rallies that simulate real deployment conditions. It also runs an avalanche prevention and monitoring project in the Ukrainian Carpathians with partners, supported by the Visegrad Fund, and co-organises activities with the Slovak Mountain Rescue Service (Horská záchranná služba). The association is funded in part through the 2% tax designation in Slovakia.
