PlanBørnefonden is a Danish children's rights and development organisation and part of Plan International. It works long term in some of the world's most vulnerable areas to secure children's and young people's rights and equal opportunities, with a particular focus on girls' rights and gender equality. Its work includes community development through child sponsorship, education, water and sanitation, child protection and emergency relief in conflicts and disasters, such as in Sudan, Gaza, Ukraine and Lebanon. It is based in Copenhagen and works with children, families, local authorities and partners, and funds its work through individual donors, sponsors, companies, foundations and public grants.
