Prevent is a non-profit association in Sweden working to improve work environments in workplaces. It is owned by the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, the Swedish Trade Union Confederation (LO) and PTK. Prevent provides courses and webinars, free checklists, surveys, templates and books on physical and organisational and social work environment, and publishes the magazine Arbetsliv with news and guidance on work environment topics. Its offerings serve employers, managers, employees and safety representatives across Sweden, with courses in Umeå, Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö and online. Some materials are also available in English. Prevent's stated aim is to help workplaces create safe, healthy and well-functioning environments.
