Founded in 2008, Razón Pública is a think tank based in Bogotá, Colombia working on democracy & civil society, peace & conflict, arts & culture.

Razón Pública is a non-profit, non-partisan foundation based in Bogotá, Colombia, established in 2008. It publishes weekly analysis and commentary by academics, researchers and experts on Colombian national affairs, politics, economics, security, peace processes, the environment, culture and international issues, with the aim of improving public understanding of contemporary issues and supporting informed public debate. Its stated purpose is to act as a meeting point for Colombian intellectuals committed to a peaceful, democratic, lawful, just and productive society, and to give analysts and academics greater influence on public debate and decision-making. The foundation also runs a donation campaign to sustain its independent journalism and a fact-checking series on information disorder, and it offers communication and editorial services to foundations, think tanks and companies. It is funded mainly by individual donors and is not affiliated with any political party.
