Fundación REDNI (Red para la Nutrición Infantil) is a civil society foundation established in December 2021 in Quito, Ecuador. It aims to contribute to eradicating chronic child malnutrition (desnutrición crónica infantil, DCI) in the framework of comprehensive early childhood development for children under two years old. The foundation works on prevention messaging, food assistance, and support for pregnant women reached directly in territory, and it highlights the high prevalence of chronic malnutrition in provinces such as Chimborazo, Bolívar and Santa Elena. It also encourages public donations through its website to fund its community programmes. Its work addresses multicausal drivers of chronic malnutrition, including inadequate diets, limited access to health services, poor childcare practices and unhealthy environments.
