Ren Strand Fanø is a voluntary association based on Fanø, Denmark, that works to clear litter from the beaches and dunes around the island and to protect the marine environment and coastal wildlife. It organises volunteer beach clean-ups, collects marine litter, provides litter bags and collection cages, runs environmental education and awareness campaigns, and cooperates with local authorities and partners on sustainable solutions. The association is approved under Danish tax law (Ligningslovens 8A), so donations of DKK 200 or more are tax-deductible. It is funded by membership fees, donations, grants and local sponsors.
