Rotary Club Sighet 2001 is a non-governmental Rotary service club in Sighet, Maramureș, Romania. Founded on 20 July 2001 by 20 local residents, it is the first Rotary club in Sighet and the second in Maramureș county. Its volunteer members run community projects, mainly for vulnerable and disadvantaged people, in areas including health and disease prevention, education and literacy, support for hospital departments, local culture and the environment. Activities include scholarships, the annual Promenada Inimii health walk, the Baia Socială social bath project, donations to a children's care association, and youth clubs Rotaract and Interact. The club states it follows the Rotary motto 'Service above self' and is part of Rotary District 2241 in Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
