SanguaCura

SanguaCura is a charity based in Luzern, Switzerland working on health, medical research, education.

Stiftung SanguaCura is a non-profit foundation based in Lucerne, Switzerland. It supports research into blood diseases (haematology) and the education and continuing training of doctors, nurses and other medical staff. It aims to disseminate research findings through congresses, seminars and publications, and to improve the management of patients with blood diseases. The foundation also funds innovation projects intended to make haematological care more efficient and sustainable, and to counter reductions in service provision in healthcare. It describes itself as independent and funded by donations.
