Save the Children España is the Spanish arm of the international child rights organisation Save the Children, registered as a foundation (Fundación Save the Children, registered under number 162 in the Spanish Registro de Fundaciones). It works for children in Spain and internationally, with a focus on protecting children from violence, tackling child poverty, providing education and health support, and responding to humanitarian emergencies. In Spain, it runs child poverty and education programmes in Andalucía, Castilla-La Mancha, Cataluña, Comunidad Valenciana, Madrid and País Vasco, as well as services for migrant and unaccompanied children, including in Ceuta and Melilla. Internationally, it works in more than 110 countries. The organisation also advocates for child rights policies with governments and institutions, offers online parenting courses, runs volunteer and employment programmes, and works with companies and foundations through corporate partnerships. It publishes its accounts and annual reports and states that most of its income comes from private sources.
