Sex & Samfund is a Danish non-profit association that works for everyone's right to decide over their own body and sexuality, in Denmark and internationally. It promotes comprehensive sexuality education, legal abortion, LGBT+ rights and an end to sexual violence. The organisation runs a free, anonymous contraception and counselling clinic in the Capital Region of Denmark, provides anonymous youth counselling services, and publishes information on sexual health, contraception and abortion. Its governing board is elected by members for two-year terms. Internationally, it works with local partners, with a particular focus on Africa, including projects in Kenya and Uganda, and is a strategic partner to the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation.
