Founded in 1969, Sexpo is a foundation based in Helsinki, Finland working on health, mental health, human rights.
Sexpo is a Finnish foundation that promotes sexual health and sexual rights and provides free sexual counselling to people of all ages, by phone, online and in person from its office in Merihaka, Helsinki. Through its SeriE competence centre, it offers anonymous, low-threshold support to people whose sexual or romantic interest is directed at children or young people, with the aim of preventing sexual offences against children and young people. SeriE also coordinates a multidisciplinary expert network of social, health and correctional professionals, which holds regular meetings and works nationally. Sexpo also runs training for professionals, a podcast, sexual rights advocacy and public education on sexuality and relationships.
