About

Founded in 2009, Ship to Gaza Sverige is a non-profit association based in Sweden working on human rights, peace & conflict, humanitarian aid & disaster relief.

Ship to Gaza Sverige is a politically and religiously independent non-profit association and grassroots initiative in Sweden. It works for practical solidarity with the population of Gaza and to end the Israeli naval blockade of the Gaza Strip through non-violent direct action, including sailing vessels with humanitarian aid, international witnesses, journalists and human rights defenders. The association also runs awareness campaigns, cultural events and fundraising, and is organised through a board, working groups and local groups across Sweden. It is part of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, a global network.
