SISA - Società Italiana per lo Studio dell'Aterosclerosi is a non-profit association based in Milano, Italy working on health, medical research.
SISA is the Italian society for the study of atherosclerosis, a scientific association of clinicians and researchers in Italy. It organises national congresses and Spring Meetings for young researchers, publishes an Italian-language journal and abstracts, runs continuing medical education (ECM) training, and promotes guidelines and prevention work on cardiovascular disease. Its affiliated Fondazione SISA promotes research on arteriosclerosis-related diseases, with activities intended for members and for civil society. Its congress venues are in Perugia, Rome, Lazise and Ancona.
