Slovenský spolok študentov farmácie

Founded in 1995, Slovenský spolok študentov farmácie is a non-profit association based in Bratislava, Slovakia working on education, health, employment & skills.

The Slovak Association of Pharmacy Students (Slovenský spolok študentov farmácie) is a civic association representing students and graduates of the pharmaceutical faculties in Slovakia, based in Bratislava at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Comenius University (FaF UK). It has operated for nearly 30 years, supporting the personal and professional development of pharmacy students through educational events, lectures, workshops, the Clinical Skills Event and the Patient Counselling Event, and international exchange and placements via IPSF and EPSA. It organises the Kariérne dni farmaceutov career fair and symposium, publishes the student journal Farmakoviny, and runs public awareness campaigns, including one on the correct use of antibiotics. Its Certifikát aktívneho študenta records students' participation in its activities. Membership is free for FaF UK students, and external membership is available to students of other faculties for a fee. The association is funded by membership fees, partner contributions and tax designations of 2% of income tax.
