About 40 solidarity, peace, environmental and cultural organisations share offices, meeting and event rooms there. The association rents premises primarily to its member organisations, prioritising outward-facing solidarity work and cultural activity. The house also hosts Världsbiblioteket, a public specialised library on global justice, development and peace, and offers study visits for schools and universities. The building is a K-marked 18th-century structure formerly used by the Barnängen textile factories. The association's statutes state it is politically and religiously unaffiliated.
