Founded in 2006, SoNoRo is a non-profit association based in București, Romania working on arts & culture, education, heritage.
SoNoRo is a Romanian non-profit association founded in 2006 in Bucharest. It runs the International Chamber Music Festival SoNoRo, the SoNoRo Interferențe educational programme that provides scholarships and masterclasses to young musicians aged 14 to 30, and related projects including SoNoRo Conac, SoNoRo Musikland and the SoNoRo Strings orchestra. Its work brings classical music to historic buildings and heritage sites across Romania and abroad, and it has partnered with the MINA museum on an immersive concert project. The association also runs international festival exchanges with partners in Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Japan and other countries.
