It provides direct material and social assistance to people in need, including poor families with many children, single mothers, orphaned children, children with cancer or leukaemia, street children, and lonely or disabled elderly people. Assistance includes food, clothing, toys, heating equipment, housing repairs and medical support, delivered through individual cases that donors can fund directly. The association also accepts in-kind donations and corporate sponsorships, and it aims to act as a link between those who can help and those in need. Its first humanitarian activity began in summer 2007, providing hot meals and food parcels to poor elderly people in the Oravița area of Caraș-Severin county. The association was formally established in autumn 2009. Its work is carried out mainly in Romania. Donations are published in a donor list with the case, and donors may also redirect 3.5% of their income tax or 20% of corporate profit tax to the association.
