SPOKOJNOSŤ centrum sociálnych služieb, n.o. is a non-profit non-governmental organisation founded in 2007 and based in Prievidza, Slovakia, operating mainly in the Upper Nitra region. It works with people with severe disabilities, families with children living on the margins of society, and marginalised Roma communities in segregated areas of Prievidza and Handlová. Its services include early childhood care, community centres, social counselling, addiction and co-dependence support, youth low-threshold programmes, food and clothing aid, and informal education. It also runs cultural and inclusion events such as the DIVERSITA competition and the Roma dance festival, and promotes tolerance, anti-discrimination and intercultural dialogue. The organisation describes itself as apolitical and independent of political parties.
