Göteborg, Sweden
About
Founded in 2025, Svenska Humorföreningen is a non-profit association based in Göteborg, Sweden working on heritage, arts & culture.
Svenska Humorföreningen is a Swedish association based in Gothenburg that collects, preserves and presents Swedish humour and entertainment history. Its collections and archives are largely built on material from the Galenskaparna and After Shave production company Kulturtuben, and include material from Kals Åden, Lasse Kjell and other performers. The association works toward a national Humorarkiv (humour archive) and, in the longer term, a Humormuseum. It also runs public projects such as touring exhibitions, a humour-themed stand at the Gothenburg Book Fair, and events, and invites donations, deposits, memberships and sponsorships. It collects material from across Sweden, not only Gothenburg.
