Tænketanken EUROPA

Founded in 2013, Tænketanken EUROPA is a think tank based in København, Denmark working on democracy & civil society, peace & conflict, environment & climate.

Tænketanken EUROPA is an independent, Copenhagen-based non-profit think tank. It publishes analyses on EU policy, EU legislation and political developments in Europe, with the aim of helping the Danish public and decision-makers understand EU cooperation and what EU policy means for Denmark. The organisation also follows national elections across Europe, organises conferences, webinars and roundtables, and works with international think tanks, including the European Council on Foreign Relations as a strategic partner. It is funded through foundations, private companies, organisations and membership fees, and receives government support linked to Denmark's EU presidency in 2025. The think tank was established in 2013 by the Danish labour market parties CO-industri and Dansk Industri and relaunched in 2019-20 with new statutes, a new board and a new director. It is based in Copenhagen.
