Tænketanken Frej is a Danish non-profit think tank and association founded in 2016 that works to build a sustainable, green food system in Denmark that respects planetary boundaries. It aims to bring together farmers, food companies, NGOs, researchers, authorities, politicians and young people to foster dialogue and collaboration. Its work includes debate events, research-based recommendations, public campaigns, projects on legumes, plant-based food, regenerative agriculture and biodiversity, and educational material. Based in Copenhagen, it operates across Denmark and is supported by a partner network of companies and organisations across the food value chain.
