Tak trocha inak

Tak trocha inak is a non-profit association based in Prievidza, Slovakia working on health, community development.

OZ Tak trocha inak is a Slovak civic association founded by Erika Mokrý, a breast cancer survivor, to support oncology patients. It donates headscarves and turbans, and a free starter pack for women who have lost their hair, to patients via cooperating hospitals in Slovakia, and has also helped financially support families. Its work includes publishing a patient information brochure on cancer and its treatment, a blog and a book about the founder's experience. The association funds its work through donations and the sale of headscarves, turbans, socks, T-shirts and books, with the full profit from these products going to patient support.
