Tampereen A-Kilta ry is a public-benefit registered association in Tampere, Finland, founded in 1968 and originally formed by clients of the A-klinikka addiction clinic. It provides peer support, counselling and guidance for people affected by substance use, their relatives and people in recovery. Its work includes drug- and alcohol-free drop-in groups, sports and hobby groups, a sauna and recreation at the Kartano day centre, and supported housing and community housing (yhdyskuntatuvat) in Tampere, Nokia and Orivesi. It also runs outreach neighbourhood work, peer-led projects for women and young adults, and volunteer and peer-experience activities. Membership is open to anyone who accepts the association's rules and values. Funding comes largely from public sources, including Stea, THL and the City of Tampere.
